What works
Everything I tested. Killing, stealing, talking, training, travelling...despite fps slowdowns I can still comfortably play it. Ran patch from console.
What does not
Like I've said in earlier versions, FPS suffers in areas you have to crunch polygons. And I forgot to mention since Morrowind initial install, the character menus see the mouse slowdown considerably. It's usable, but annoying at times.
Workarounds
What was not tested
Custom mods (aka plugins) and running through the whole game.

Additional Comments
Still sub-par fps under Wine, but it does 'work'. 'Vanilla' Wine built from source. ATI Catalyst 9.10 binary from website. I have the GotY edition Morrowind. Occasional pauses having to do with loading areas into memory. If I remember this is mostly consistent with a Windows install. Although it might be worth investigating....
