Additional Comments

The native Linux version of Dungeon Defenders (v7.48) didn't run on my Ubuntu 16.04.2 (Game itself is running, but no single or multiplayer possible). The Windows Version (v7.48b) runs pretty well in wine. I used a clean 32bit wineprefix. You have to install dotnet35sp1 via winetricks. Some of the links winetricks tries to download are offline, you should be able to find them via google though. Put them into the correspoding subdirectory in ~/.cache/winetricks and re-run winetricks dotnet35sp1. E.g. I had to download msxml3 (~/.cache/winetricks/msxml3/msxml3.msi). The installation is quite big and has some dependencies, so don't be surprised as it needs some time to install. You have to go through several .net installers yourself. Install dotnet35sp1 before DunDefSetup.exe or before starting the game for the first time. Otherwise Dungeon Defenders tries to install dotnet35sp1 itself, which fails. You can play via LAN very well. Hosting and joining games works. I only had a graphical glitch when jumping and dying in the lava. I played the game in full screen. If you tap out, the game will freeze. Unfortunately running the game with a virtual full screen desktop doesn't really help, as the cursor is leaving the window when reaching the borders then, and you can't turn completely around. Other than that, this is almost a platinum rating.
