What does not

Firefox 55 - experience was extremely poor and I reverted to Firefox 54.0.1 instead.

Enter key often doesn't work in the address bar. Click on the "go" button to the right of the address bar to work around this.

I also disabled Firefox's new multiprocess feature - I had to specify the about:config page as a command line parameter to actually get it to load before I could actually change this setting.

Many things. Printing, saving, full screen. I'm mainly writing this entry for the instructions as to how to get it working with flash player for channel4.

Additional Comments

To get it to install and work correctly, it must be in a 32-bit wine. Use the WINE_ARCH environment variable for this. I used the command given here and added an alias to my ~/.bash_aliases file https://askubuntu.com/a/403917 to force 32-bit. On the graphics tab of winecfg, make sure only the "allow window manager to control the window" tab is ticked. Use Winetricks to install the vcrunXXXX runtime libraries. At the time of writing I don't know which one is necessary but beffore I installed them Javascript was crashing when trying to load a flash video on Channel4. I installed all of them and now it works :)
