After the sea battles it can happen that the Nameless Hero is stuck above the sea and cannot move anymore. This seems to be a general problem, as also players on Windows are affected. 

There is a trick to bypass this point: Reload a savegame BEFORE the sea battle (not the continue button!), choose a different island to go to and - as soon as you defeated the captain - skip the cutscene. The game should then continue normally.

Worked out of the box like a charm. No rotation problem in the game. Sometimes the game gets stuck, remember to save often. Don't use the pre-defined Risen 3 configuration but a new wine prefix. Choose a 64bit one with Win7.
