Latest version as of July 2017.
The whole game (4-10 fps w/ old hw, FOSS drivers(noveau) @ 1920x1080; about 20 fps (playable) w/ old hw, FOSS drivers(noveau) @ 1280x1024)
What does not
- some resolutions may not work
- when starting in full-screen, the game often tabs out to the system when starting
- the start-up scene doesn't show up in normal window mode
- the 16 bit colour resolution messes up some colours
- try multiple resolutions
- do not use 16 bit colour resolution
- try to use full screen (or slower no-border window mode) mode when possible
What was not tested
Big part of the game - only the start and approximately 5 mins of the game were played/tested
(you have to click through anything (like install a game) and then cancel - and you'll get into that menu).
I don't know if that affected anything. I found that in v1.3.8 test.
Make sure you run 'wine SCP\ -\ Containment\ Breach.exe' from
within the 'SCP - Containment Breach' folder you extracted the game
folder into. This will prevent the "missing DLLs" message.
Using winetricks, go into "Install a Windows DLL or Component" and
select "allcodecs". This will let the intro video play and will allow
the main menu to load completely. (If you do not have allcodecs
installed, it will hang at 40%).
