Office 365 ProPlus ( 2016 )
All using a 32bit prefix and using latest version of Office 365 ProPlus x86 (32 bit) installer (note this was downloaded on windows as office.com is not tricked by a modified UserAgent string):
With msxml3 and msxml6 installed the installer works. (Near the end a pauze button appears on the window, this means everything is installed, you may just close the window)
With a couple dlls moved, the max_version_factory dword in Wine\Direct2D register set to 0, and riched30 installed all apps will launch and work pretty flawlessly.
However with one pretty major caveat:
What does not
You cannot sign in to an Office365 account. The small window where you would otherwise log in is completely blank. Until one installs ie8 with winetricks, then it reads "We are having some temporary server issues". I assure you, these are not server issues, nor are they temporary. This error can usually we fixed on windows by tinkering with internet explorer in the settings or presumably upgrading to ie10, but neither of these options seem to be possible in wine.
- used a 32 bit prefix (64bit would crash because of a missing dll)
- installed msxml3, msxml6, riched30, ie8 with winetricks
- copied following dlls:
drive_c/Program Files/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/ClickToRun/AppvIsvSubsystems32.dll
drive_c/Program Files/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/ClickToRun/C2R32.dll
and pasted them in drive_c/Program Files/Microsoft Office/root/Office16/ where the applications are located, though others claim they should be moved to drive_c/Program Files/Microsoft Office/root/Client/ instead.
- with wine regedit:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct2D] add "max_version_factory"=dword:00000000

What was not tested
I did not use the apps for any real work but most of the things I tried in Word/Powerpoint worked. Excel and Outlook open (though the latter obviously has no use without logging in), did not test other apps.
Onedrive will not launch with administrator permissions.
