What works

The launcher (crossout_launcher_1.0.3.116.exe) and its options window.

What does not

1. CrossoutLauncher.exe does crash as soon as launched (error window 'File not found: ...\EasyAntiCheat\Launcher\Settings.json').

2. The game does fail to launch. Same issue with Wine 5.0.1, 4.0.4, 4.21, 5.11.  I have try to install crypt32 without getting more success. I have to play with the options in the launcher (forcing 32bits, using 'Legacy GPU', disabling Nvidia and AMD drivers).

Workarounds

1. Fix: copy Settings32.json to Settings.json

2. Not found.

What was not tested

Game main menu, playing.

Hardware tested

Graphics:

  • GPU: Intel
  • Driver: open source

Additional Comments

Prefix used: 64bits, OS 'win7'. My computer has a Intel HD 530 and a Nvidia GPU GTX 950M.

On the game Launcher window, the version displayed at the top of the screen is: 0.11.50.145127
