New version needet to update to update in 2018
to the newer svnet-comfort. svnet-classic will be not contignued.
What does not
Winetricks were necessary to make sv.net install and work.
Datenübermittlung (online data exchange) reverts to invalid Proxy-settings on every application launch (localhost:80 HTTP-Proxy)
I used wine-development from the official Ubuntu repos.
I took the following steps to make svn.net classic 17.1.1 install and run: (minor variation to simon's steps)
For better usability I also installed cups-pdf via aptitude, so I could configure sv.net classic to print into PDFs
Before starting the Datenübermittlung (online data exchange) in the "Zugangsdaten" (login details) Dialog we need to make sv.net fix its proxy-settings:
You have to repeat the above steps once after every application restart, since the proxy-settings revert to their broken state after closing the application.
What was not tested
Didn't test the other functionality, but it will probably work aswell.
svn.net classic is foing end-of-life on 31.12.2017 and the installer is announced to no longer be available for download beginning in November 2017.
But an existing install of sv.net classic is necessary in order to migrate existing databases into the new sv.net comfort, so they might reconsider the timeline.
