The DRM-free version of the game available at GOG.com and on the GOG Galaxy client.
Everything! (Even the final scene with The Devil which wasn't working perfectly previously).
What does not
Minor installation error messages pop up, such as "Out of Global Vars range" and "Invalid Opcode." However, they are not fatal and the installation succeeds.
The only bug I could find in playing is that, in the options menu, when you change the volume, the meter doesn't appear to move. It's not a big deal, but I presume the bug doesn't occur under Microsoft Windows. (It looks like it might be using a font to render the meter, so it's possible that I simply need to install some standard Microsoft fonts.)
When installing, hit OK to close the spurious error messages.
When changing the volume, you can ignore the problem or count how many times you pressed left or right. (Same for any other options meter, such as Saturation).
What was not tested
This version of Wine is much improved! All the major complaints and kludges from the original release of Cuphead are gone. Joysticks are automatically detected. d3d11 works with a good FPS, so there is no need to configure any library overrides. Best of all, the bug with the sprites on the final level with The Devil that occurred previously is now fixed! Huzzah!.
