    • Shadows visible through walls.
    • White dots.
    • Trivial and Minor graphical issues differing from chapter to chapter.
  • DX10.1
    • MSAA - Everything is black.
  • DX11
    • Tessellation - Character models are invisible.
  • General
    • Audio stuttering and noise during pre-rendered cutscenes.
    • Water - Shadow / Rendering issues.
    • Cursor hard stops in a direction if using a multi-monitor setup.
    • Game occasionally crashes (3 times in a full playthrough - 10 Hours).
    • Game occasionally crashes when exiting (4 times in ~30 exits).
    • First time login to the Rockstar Social Club can be difficulty because the game renders at 800x600 and settings cannot be change prior to login in.

Workarounds

  • Cursor issue can be fixed by emulating a virtual desktop (winecfg -> Graphics -> Emulate virtual desktop).
  • Setting the Width and Height resolution in the graphics.xml can help with first login into the Rockstar Social Club.
