In winecfg override xaudio2_7 to (native, bulitin)
Do not install xact
Previous versions of wine (<=3.10-staging) should install xact through winetricks xact in conjunction with the listed dll overrides fix audio issues.
If you are between versions 3.10-staging and 3.16-staging you can try the game without xact first, override xaudio2_7 if the audio isn't good install xact

Like plenty of windows games this one minimizes when tabbed out, on window managers without minimizing functionality like i3 this basically crashes the game.
You can solve this by emulating a virtual desktop in winecfg, though you might have to set fullscreen on launch every time.
