What works

64-bit only game, tested in a 1920x1080 virtual desktop with a clean 64-bit prefix and ran winetricks corefonts lucida consolas  to get standard MS fonts (not required but better for Steam)

D3D11 or D3D9 (through -force-d3d9 flag) :

Runs well but has graphical issues which makes it barely playable at the moment (see next section).

OpenGL (through -force-gl flag) :

Runs really well and performance seems on par with windows. However it seems the developer hasn't implemented high-quality shaders for the water surface so we are stuck with Medium setting for Water rendering; this is not a big issue since most of the game is played deep underwater.

What does not

D3D11 or D3D9 :

Some models like the Escape Pods, animals, monsters, held items simply don't render which makes the game barely playable in these modes.

OpenGL :

Changing graphical settings in-game, will probably hang; exit and relaunch then change settings before starting/loading a new game.

Nothing, everything seems to run well. Small caveat : the game sometimes crashes right after exiting (which isn't a big issue in itself if you save beforehand).

Workarounds

Launch the game with -force-opengl

Do NOT activate "Capture mouse in fullscreen" in winecfg

What was not tested

Extended play through but so far so good (in OpenGL mode)
