Installed fine with Install_ESO.exe from eso account website. i unchecked(!) c++ runtime and direct x during setup.
Gameplay was fine and with surprising good performance. I had no problem during ~ 20 hours of doing quests and traveling around the ingame world.
Launcher is working and able to update the game. No Rendering issue noticed (except water reflection was turned on)
What does not
Water Reflections do not render correct, i had to turn it off. (Ultra Setting)
Install_ESO.exe used a lot of cpu power and was laggy to use also some artifacts around the installer window. With the start of the launcher / download / update process everything was ok.
I had to copy "The Elder Scrolls Online/game/client/x64/d3dcompiler_47.dll" to "game/client/" (black screen / game did not start)
What was not tested
Player vs. Player
Played mostly on high + ambient occlusion (cities ~30 fps, area 45 - 60 fps, dungeons 55-80 fps) AMD RX 580 / Mesa 17.2.2
I was able to use the game without d3dcompiler_47.dll workaround if i copied the up-to-date game from my windows partition and simply used "wine eso64.exe". I have no idea why it is not working with a fresh wine prefix.
