Latest version from tableau
Mostly works, also plotting and excel import, contrary to older reports.
What does not
Installation says a service is not available, with or without a 32-bit prefix.
Seeing the diff of the autocleaner tool (after importing data) is not possible — errors out that the temporary excel file can't be found.
This fixed it for me, though perhaps not all of the steps are needed any more.
1. Create a 32-bit prefix and use it henceforth: https://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#Ho...
2. winetricks vcrun2013
3. https://download.microsoft.com/download/e/6/e/e6e648f0-d53b-4c29-8ca2-c343b5adfba7/AccessDatabaseEngine.exe, run in wine
4. winetricks jet40
5. install tableau
