64-bit Guild Wars 2 client officially released May 17, 2016. This is the ideal client to be using and should be considered the default client.
From Installation to Patching, from Launching to Advanced Gameplay - entire gaming experience is there, working.
What does not
What was not tested
I would give it Garbage, but it works at the end of the day.
Client suffers from extremely frequent crashes. I actually sit through entire process, I don't remember how many times I had to restart the launcher. For future reference, this cannot be solved by using different wine versions. They all crash regardless.
Game, on the other hand, is almost unplayable due to annoying levels of choppiness and sudden fps drops. I even tried D9VK on it, won't budge. It has serious problems with drawing objects in the distance while playing, hence the fps drops. In-doors also aren't too good for gameplay, neither you play in-doors all the time, they still suffer from sudden fps drops.
I'm giving it Bronze, I don't think it will improve. Guild Wars 2 is living in the past in its own engine. Only improvement would be launcher actually working how it used to be - without crashes.

You can fully download all of the game data and any future updates required for Guild Wars 2 by appending
-image as a command-line argument to the Guild Wars 2 executable (
Gw2.exe). An example can be found below:
WINEPREFIX=~/'Wine Prefixes/Guild Wars 2' wine 'Gw2.exe' -image
You can also check the integrity of the game data archive by appending
-repair as a command-line argument (this can take longer than 5-10 minutes to complete):
WINEPREFIX=~/'Wine Prefixes/Guild Wars 2' wine 'Gw2-64.exe' -repair
For quick guidelines:
-imageis recommended so you don't have to worry about streaming data during gameplay
Gw2.datfor a while, it's a good idea to run
-repairon it every now and then after updates
-repairis highly recommended
