Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

What works

• Standard GOG installer works fine. Throws a runtime error at the end but that doesn't seem to be a problem.
• Bootup videos work fine. The game window may minimise itself during bootup, but task switching back to the game allows proceeding normally.
• On current open-source Radeon and Amdgpu drivers, all graphics settings work.
• Character creation, gameplay, cutscenes, and minigames work fine. The game is completable.
• Mods also work, if you find a comfortable way to install them.

What does not

The game crashes occasionally when loading into new areas, maybe once every 10 loading screens. Sometimes such a crash is preceded by all area geometry disappearing, which is your last chance to save and restart the program. Restarting and reloading allows continuing normally.
