What works

  • Editing scores, playback, saving, plugins. The functionality for working with scores properly.
  • Aria Player

What does not

  • When using the Mixer or the Studio View, instrument names do not appear, so you have to either count the instrument position in the Mixer, or count or try to guess by looking at clefs in the Studio View.
  • Editiing scripts in the FinaleScript section regularly results in the scripts folder being renamed, and FinaleScript useless. Have to go find the scripts folder and move it again to its correct location each time this happens, which is frequently.

Workarounds

I had to copy fonts from a working Windows drive to get fonts displaying properly.
