What works
The login screen works and the application installs fine. gdiplus.dll and riched20.dll are required as overrides to allow the application to display the login screen correctly.
What does not
Cannot login, cannot connect to the network. All connection tests however show to be successful.

Using winetricks install: msxml3, flash, riched20
Then just install MSN Messenger 7.5 with the default Windows xp version.
After the installation using winecfg change the Windows version to win2k.
And you will have you're almost perfect MSN Messenger 7.5.
