What works

  • Installs without problems.
  • Runs, no additional steps required.
  • Menu is working, all graphical options can be changed.
  • In-game movies and cut-scenes work without an issue.
  • Looks that all element are rendered, only some issues with shading.
  • Controls (mouse, keyboard) working correctly.
  • On-line lobby.
  • Alt-tab works.
  • Decent performance.

What does not

There are some serious graphical issues, some areas are black or very dark. I don't know if this is an issue with textures, shader or anything else, I will fill a bug report for is with screen-shots.

Game is probably slower than on Windows but playable on highest graphic setting on my hardware.

What was not tested

I played game for only few minutes, graphical issues are really annoying. I didn't test on-line game, but lobby is working.

Hardware tested

  • GPU: Nvidia

With DXVK game runs perfectly, but it is not standard part of wine. Check TODO below.

HowTo / Notes

DXVK (DirectX 11 on Vulkan)

Game runs much better with DXVK. I tested it for few minutes and everything was perfect.

To use it:

  • download latest binaries from DXVK realeses
  • unpack tar.gz archive
  • use scripts from x32 and x64 directories

Now all games that use DirectX 11 will utilize DXVK.
