What works

"Win32" samples and .NET "Sampels in .ZIP files" install correctly.

All "Developer Tools" install except for ".NET Development Tools".

Individual programs are listed below.

What does not

Samples -> .NET Framework -> Samples in Documentation fails to install, possibly due to bug #34989.

Developer Tools -> Windows Development Tools -> .NET Development Tools does not report an error while installing, but is not detected by the installer as being present. It is not entirely clear whether all of the associated files are present.

Individual programs are listed below.

Workarounds

The installer requires native dotnet20, otherwise it refuses to start.

What was not tested

Documentation was not installed due to its size.

Additional Comments

Individual programs:

• graphedt.exe: needs mfc42. Opening files works; run/pause/stop works. Save fails and crashes the program. Frame stepping fails (needs IVideoFrameStep). I couldn't get connecting to another application to work, but I couldn't get it to work on Windows either.
• guidgen.exe: needs mfc90
• Inspect.exe: barely works; needs oleacc.AccessibleObjectFromPoint() implementation, or {ff48dba4-60ef-4201-aa87-54103eef594e} for UIA mode
• OleView.Exe: needs mfc42u; seems to work perfectly otherwise
• UISpy.exe: throws a .NET exception: "Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'UIAutomationTypes, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. File not found."

Other programs were not tested.
