Carmageddon: Max Damage

What works

It's very strange, because it is seems to be freeze at the splash screen when starting the game. After 5-10 mins it started to run.

I cannot find out what need to do to get for the main menu, the game never again start in this way, I had no chance to test in this way.
I'm using Arch  linux x64, with nvidia proprietary driver on an alienware 15r3 - GTX1070 / core i7 gen 7.

SOLUTION: After some searching on the net, I installed wine-ge all of it's dependencies with yay package manager under Arch.
After that the game started very fast, funny that is loads much faster than in Win10, but when the race start it is very slow.

Even if I change the resolution to a lower one and switch off everything as well as v-sync, the game speed is so bad, it cannot be played on my hardware.

Exepct speed issue, it seems to be running stable. I have no clue how to go further, what can I do for better game run.
