Game launches, sound "works", graphics seem okay, no obvious glitches or artifacts, unit movement and such seems okay.
What does not
Saving is impossible; the game does not apparently see any visible folders or drives; specifying an absolute file name (C:\Temp\Mygame.sav, e.g.) does not work at all, nor does loading. Configuration files, however, are saved okay.
Sound stutters, and the game runs rather slowly on occasion. The game crashes when I press "enter" to end a turn (I enabled "pause at end of turn" in the options).
What was not tested
Network play of any sort, multi-player, extended game play, unit design, achievement, score, or any other F1-12 menus, game ending, faction defeat, combat, etc.
To make this game even run, you must enable OSS sound, and add the line "ForceOldVoxelAlgorithm=1" to the Alpha Centauri.ini file.
