1.x version that was first released on March 21st 2018 for the EU servers.
Battled, garage, all features I have tried so far.
What does not
Using the Windows 7 setting in Wine, the ground is not rendered.
Using the Windows 10 setting in Wine, the ground is rendered, but parts of the tank are not rendered or are distorted. Setting graphics quality to low in an attempt to reset custom graphics settings i had maxed earlier in an attempt to get the ground to render caused the game to use all available CPU and run like a one-legged horse.
Using Windows 8 setting in Wine has the same result as Windows 10 setting.
Tried to install DXVK using Winetricks, but although my graphics driver (nVidia proprietary for GTX1080) supports Vulkan, it didn't appear to install.
Installed D3DX11 using Winetricks. Reverted to Windows 7. Removed D3Dx9. Loader splash screen takes ages to draw. Game fails to start or takes so long as to not be worth waiting for. Same for other Windows versions.
What was not tested
Various minor features.
WoT is version 18.104.22.1681. Not sure why this isn't a selectable version in the appdb.

This game performs best with DXVK, which is a Vulkan-based Direct3D implementation to replace the default bundled with Wine.
Vulkan 1.1 support is required for the current version of DXVK. Older graphics drivers (e.g. nvidia-390) that only support Vulkan 1.0 will need to use DXVK 1.5.1 or earlier.
Many current operating systems already contain the necessary packages to run DXVK: no additional installations are required other than the most up-to-date drivers for your graphics card (tested with a fresh installation of Ubuntu 20.04).
