What works

Pre-installation: create a clean win32 prefix.

Set it to windows 95 windows version.

Program installation works ok with wine 3.5.

I have clicked cancel when offered to install quick time.

What does not

When you launch the program Nine_95.exe, you get an error dialog box:

Dialog Title: "Director Player 5.0"
Message: "This program requires at least 3MB of free virtual memory to run"

Launching the program from a terminal does not show any console message, the dialog box is shown and the console prompt comes back.

Some googling show that at some point windows changed the unit in which the virtual memory is reported (e.g. 16000 KB > 16 MB) and that the client program may be mistaken (i.e. 16 is < 3000).  I have no way to verify if this is urban legend or not.

Workarounds

What was not tested
