sv.net comfort

What works

Not much tested up to now,

importing data from 17.1.1 work

receiving and sending works (not yet heavily tested)

What does not

The Mouse pointer, at least in KDE, will not change back after its

changed for adjust window size. But this has no effect for using mouse.

Workarounds

in short words:

need to use winetricks for directx9 if not, programm will still run, but you could not fill anithing into the forms to send.

exact description:

wine version 3.9-1.2 opensuse tumbleweed rpm

64bit ryzen7, amd radeon pro wx4100, mesa, kde

step 1)

data migration from 17.1.1: (you could skip this if you do not like to migrate data)

install sv.net comfort into the already existing wineprefix where you have

old version running!!

in winecfg:

set windows version to "windows 7" and set dll oleaut32 buildin

install sv.net comfort with something like:

env WINEPREFIX="/home/youruser/.wine-svnet" wine setup_sv.net-comfort_18.0.1.16.exe

start sv.net comfort with something like: klicking on desktop symbol

goto:

verwaltung einstellungen lokale-datenbank datenuebertragung svnet-classic

chose correct path to the old svnet.exe

start migration

OK

make backup from the importet data <- most importent because we will use this backup later

goto

verwaltung einstellungen lokale-datenbank einstellungen

datenbanksicherung

database is in: ...../drive_c/users/youruser/sv.net/Sicherungen

there are now 2 files inside copy the "svnet-backup......tar.gz" file to a save place

close sv.net comfort

!!!!! delete or rename this wineprefix !!!!!!!!!! i will  use for the installation

in my example for the new version the same wineprefix ".wine-svnet" BUT must be empty

or deleted!!!!

step 2:

to have a clean install make a new 32bit wine enviorement:

env WINEPREFIX="/home/youruser/.wine-svnet" env WINEARCH=win32 winecfg

install with winetricks directx 9

env WINEPREFIX="/home/youruser/.wine-svnet" env WINEARCH=win32 winetricks directx9

start winecfg:

env WINEPREFIX="/home/youruser/.wine-svnet" env WINEARCH=win32 winecfg

set windows version back to "windows 7"

set dll: "d3d8" and "d3d9" to "nativ" (all others do not touch)

install svnet:

env WINEPREFIX="/home/youruser/.wine-svnet" env WINEARCH=win32 wine setup_sv.net-comfort_18.0.1.16.exe

start it with:

env WINEPREFIX="/home/youruser/.wine-svnet" wine C:\\windows\\command\\start.exe /Unix /home/youruser/.wine-svnet/dosdevices/c:/users/Public/Desktop/sv.net\ comfort\ .lnk

(this may differ, please check it with right click on the desktop symbol how to start)

step 3:

import the before saved data from old installation:

start sv.net comfort (see step 2)

goto

verwaltung einstellungen lokale-datenbank einstellungen

to generate a directory do:

datenbank sicherung

now copy the file you have saved in the other version to this directory

...../drive_c/users/youruser/sv.net/Sicherungen

and

datenbank wiederherstellen

chose the version you have copied before.

What was not tested

Most stuff, because there are so many forms to send, and because

you have to use "real company data" its not possible to send some tests.

Additional Comments

If somebody has time, it would be interesting if it is possible

to use only one or two dll's from winetricks directx9 to get the forms running.

then it would be possible to use a 64 bit wine installation........
