There is a minor graphics glitch that causes items dragged by the mouse to not disappear after you stop dragging, but they will disappear once you click on a window menu. I think that this has happened to me on Windows before as well.

It is necessary to add the mfc140u.dll library

It is necessary to add the mfc140u.dll library in the installation folder of the program. configure wine with windows 10 and in the libraries tab tell it to manage the mfc140u.dll library as an internal native.
meshmixer 3.5 and 3.3 don't start
by R E on Friday April 12th 2019, 15:31
meshmixer doesn't start and I can't deploy the workaround because mfc140u.dll doesn't seem to exist.

Use winetricks to instal VC++ Redistributable 2017 like:
winetricks vcrun2017

Note that I tried the 2015 version also which has the same dll but things don't work with it. Also if you install VC++ 2017 before you attempt to install meshmixer you won't need to copy over the mentioned dll.
