This is a suite of programs that allow 3D Games to be designed, and then compiled to run under Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, WebGL, and maybe a few other target platforms. But, the editor requires a Windows 7 computer with DirectX 11 (or an equally powerful OS/X Mac), to design and compile the game.

What does not

A black window first appears which next turns to gray. This seems to
correspond to the splash screen which the Editor is trying to display.
If we click to close that window, the editor application starts to
become active. At that point, complicated graphics display, but are

I have an NVIDIA 'GeForce GTX460' Graphics card, which is
outdated by today's standards, and am running proprietary drivers,
version 375.82 . In theory, 'infobash' tells me that these drivers
support OpenGL 4.5 , but I know that my hardware is not as strong, as GL
4.5 .

I can try to run the Editor with the '-force-opengl' option from the
command-line, at which point it tells me it's rendering GL 4.5 .

Additional Comments

All this tells me, that probably, my hardware is the reason the
graphics don't display, and other Wine users with stronger hardware,
might be able to run it.

Requires the Linux package 'winbind' to run.
