What works

• Playing the game.
• Single-player.
• Sounds.

What does not

• Installation.
• Running in full-screen mode in Wine, and switching workspaces.

Workarounds

For the installer to run (and not required for the game), enable access to region 0, by using the command:

# sysctl -w vm.mmap_min_addr=0

To prevent the game from auto-minimizing when switching workspaces, run it in virtual-desktop mode:

$ wine explorer /desktop=,800x600 dfbhdd.exe

What was not tested

• Multi-player.

Additional Comments

The game runs almost flawlessly.

Sometimes, I experience a slight lag/stutter when I quickly move the mouse (weapon). I don't know if the behaviour is distinct enough to call it a limitation.
