What does not

• Running the game: It runs in an invisible window.
• Running the game in Wine's full-screen mode, and then changing workspaces: The game window auto-minimizes and it is impossible to restore it! (Bug #37937).

Workarounds

• It can be quite tricky to deal with the problem of invisible window: You need to run the configuration utility `CONFIG.EXE' in Wine's virtual-desktop mode and select the right graphics mode (OpenGL or Direct3D), and the right resolution (maybe less than that of your current desktop's, so 800x600 is a safe choice). Then, you can run the game, maybe in Wine's virtual-desktop (better) or full-screen  (less probable) mode, whichever works without problems.
• To deal with the problem of the game window auto-minimizing, run the game in Wine's virtual-desktop mode.
