What does not

Buffer overrun error can be fixed with the command given in Workarounds

Workarounds

Should be run with the following command else you will get a buffer overrun message and game will crash

MESA_EXTENSION_MAX_YEAR=2003 force_s3tc_enable=true __GL_ExtensionStringVersion=17700 wine CoDMP.exe +set r_ignorehwgamma 1

You need to have the following dependencies installed else the game would crash (or it would not open)

lib32-alsa-lib

lib32-alsa-plugins

lib32-libpulse

Tested on  Arch Linux based distro Archcraft.
