As mentioned by the network socket bug, multiplayer mode does not work. I then updated to the latest version of Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising (1.7.5.7), but now the game crashes immediately upon launch. "Unable to create a network socket" error upon launching exe. If you install from disc and don't update you can at least run the single player training mode, but after updating the game to 1.7.5.7 you will get this error immediately upon loading.
Side note: Novalogic's games were all sold to THQ, and I've read that their game servers are still supposed to be online, but I have not tested this game in Windows recently to confirm.
