Far Cry

What works

• Installation.
• Playing the game (hard because of colors, see below).
• Sounds.
• Music.

What does not

Everything (except for tree-tops) appears bluish in colour (blue). There appears to be a thick fog preventing you from seeing anything. (Maybe it is a shader problem?). I tried installing with Winetricks: d3dx9_43 + compiler_43, directx9,  without changes.

Workarounds

What was not tested

Playing more than 2 minutes (impossible because of the color).

Graphics:

• GPU: Intel
• Driver: open source

Additional Comments

• The installer provides an option to install DirectX. I did not opt for it.
• Same color issue with Wine 3.0.3, 4.21, 5.2
• I also tried to change the settings into the Graphics options of the game.
• Prefix: 64 bits, os winxp. Computer's GPU:  Intel HD Graphics 4400.
