What works

Only have been playing the first chapter of the game, but all cutscenes, controls, the menu, game graphics and audio seem to work after small workarounds.

What does not

There will be rendering issues if you don't use DXVK,
and you will stay stuck in the first conversation, unable to leave the house, if you don't fix the audio issues by with native DLLs.

Workarounds

- enable DXVK

- install "xact" via winetricks and set all of the following DLLs to native:

x3daudio_* (0-7)
xapofx1_* (1-5)
xaudio2_* (0-9)

What was not tested

Anything beyond the first chapter.

Hardware tested

Graphics:

  • GPU: Nvidia
  • Driver: proprietary

fix for audio issues (voice dialogues and ingame music)
by Dave on Thursday October 11th 2018, 17:30
The reason why you were trapped in the house, was because the sound files couldn't play in the first conversation. This kept the game locked in the dialogue cutscene.

You can fix this by installing "xact" with winetricks,
then configuring the winecfg of the prefix to set the following DLLs to native:

x3daudio_* (0-7)
xapofx1_* (1-5)
xaudio2_* (0-9)

All sound files seem to play after this configuration, and I am now also able to leave to house to do other actions.
