DRM free version of the game with some fixes from gog that makes game work on Windows without dancing around PC (unlike steam version)
|Latest Wine Version Tested:||8.0-rc3|
Maintainers: About Maintainership
Game works as well as it does on Windows, therefore there are certain glitches and errors that may affect the game which are not on Wine's side. The fan-made widescreen fix also works correctly and so does the fan-made patch that allows changing game values, such as walking speed and weapon damage values.
What does not
What was not tested
Anything beyond Chapter 6.
Alt-tabbing out of the game causes it to crash and a Wine debugger window will appear. Alt-tabbing also crashes it under Windows, so this is not a Wine-exclusive bug.
Changing the brightness from the game will cause it to apply to the entire desktop and this will persist even after the game is closed. Using the fan-made widescreen fix, which includes an option to force the game to run in windowed mode, I observed it applies to the whole screen instead of being restricted to the game window. The original brightness can be restored by setting the game's brightness setting to 5 or restarting the computer (I believe restarting the window manager may word, but I haven't tested it myself).
