WTLIB Video Crash Workaround
by Howard L. on Friday June 14th 2019, 15:14
I work around the problem of WTLIB crashing when attempting to play videos by:

1.) Creating a new folder called "WTLIB Media" (or whatever you wish to call it).
2.) Making links to each hidden folder (in .wine) that contains WT videos.
3.) Moving the links into the "WTLIB Media" folder. (The videos are now accessible.)
4.) Playing the videos with an external media player.

Ensure you select 64-bit option when installing WINE this allows 2017 version to install and receive auto-updates. I run my copy on a 64gb SD card and it's fast/responsive.

On 10-8-18 TsnVictor posted that WTLIB crashed when playing video. I've done my best to scour the program but can't find any video anywhere. Perhaps he is trying to run the app from the windows 10 store? New test results posted.

Video is found by following these steps

Study Bible (nwtsty) 2018>
Introduction to Matthew
Then click on the icon:
The Icon (Video Introduction to the Book of Matthew
See also: Bibles>
Study Bible (nwtsty) 2018> Mediagallery

Indeed it does crash with errors from quartz on linux. Macos didn't crash it just didn't play... strange.
