The game runs well, but everything is black, except HUD,fire on the map, and you need use nightvision glasses. There is a little d3d bug i think.

How to fix lighting and shadow effects.

For Windows and Linux systems who have newer video cards:

The shadow placements may be incorrect – Spot light beams may not appear, flash light beams may not appear, ceiling light beams may not appear.

To fix this do the following:

  1. In the game folder go to SYSTEM folder and open SplinterCell.ini file with text editor. 
  2. Find block [D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice] 
  3. Add or change (if string exists) ForceShadowMode=1 to ForceShadowMode=0
  4. Save the edited file
