What works

You can sculpt, use brushes, materials, open menus. Shift and ctrl work as expected, etc.

What does not

The textures appear low res and chunky.

Workarounds

Open winecfg and do as the previous user described (to the best of your ability). I managed to in the Libraries tab Add overrides for the following (I couldn't see some of them in the drop down menu) :

  • comct32 (native, builtin)
  • gdiplus (native, builtin)
  • mscp120 (native, builtin)
  • msvcr100 (native, builtin)
  • msvcr120 (native, builtin)
  • msvcr90 (native, builtin)
  • msvcrt (native, builtin)
  • normaliz (native, builtin)
  • ole32 (native, builtin)
  • rpcrt4 (native, builtin)
  • vcomp120 (native, builtin)
  • vcomp90 (native, builtin)

What was not tested

I didn't do anything extraordinary.

Hardware tested

Graphics:

  • GPU: Nvidia
  • Driver: open source

Additional Comments

I only tested whether or not the brushes and immediate functions like move, rotate, zoom, and floor (all the buttons you can see) work. You can definitely open files and sculpt a little bit but I'd recommend Blender 2.8 or Meshmixer (works in Ubuntu and Arch) for the rest. I'm able to use Cura afterall.
