Magic the Gathering: Arena current version
alternate (.msi) installer from here, installed to a fresh wine prefix running 32-bit arch on 64-bit host.
Game opens (in fullscreen mode), shows start screen, plays sound, and accepts user interaction for a few seconds before becoming unresponsive (screen freezes, sound continues)
What does not
A few seconds after opening, the game becomes unresponsive and displays this error:
Fatal Error in GC: GetThreadContext failed
When the error is dismissed the application closes.
Uninstalled the partially-functional application.
Installed dotnet472 with winetricks.
Reinstalled application from same alternate (.msi) file.
Still same error.
Also, all Lutris automatic installers failed.

It is possible to overcome the "Fatal error in gc, GetThreadContext failed" crash when downloading game files by using a patched version of wine. (see the discussion here https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45546)
