TeamViewer remote access, remote support and online meeting software.
TeamViewer is a remote access and support software to get access to a remote computer via Internet. For use it is not necessary to change something in the networks settings like opening some ports in a firewall.
It can be used also as a presentation software for a presentation over the net.
All newer version are based on Qt:
So there are native version for all platforms
The description here is about the Windows version of TeamViewer.
- I can open the application (if you have the a linux version running, I recommend stopping the underlying teamviewerd service before testing the windows app)
- I can login into my teamviewer account - the apps remembers my credentials when I restart it
- I can connect to a PC listed in the catalogue of my devices
- The USB Mic of my webcam is recognized and in the settings menu I can see the signal reacting to noise I make
What does not
The video of my webcam is not recognized (I put a post into the forum: https://forum.winehq.org/viewt...)
The console output stats that /dev/video1 failed to open(Invalid Argument) or that /dev/video is busy because of too many connections.
--- I used the installer version with the number 14.1.18533 ---
What was not tested
I wasn't accessed from another machine so far.
