In Wine, the game runs too fast, making gameplay more difficult. To fix this, first install libstrangle.
After you've installed Deltarune, run the below command in a terminal. This limits the game's frame rate to 30, fixing the issue.
strangle 30 wine /home/{USER}/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files\ \(x86\)/SURVEY_PROGRAM/DELTARUNE.exe
Replace {USER} with your username.
Intel users have experienced issues running this game in Wine. (Though no bug report has yet been filed, and I do not have Intel hardware to test with.)
If you use Intel graphics and find the game doesn't display correctly or at all, you may want to try the native approach detailed here.
