Chaos Overlords

What works

No CD track(mp3 from gog available), no 16bits images (doesn't wrok). Only 8 bits under wine/Windows 10.

What does not

It depends on windows. In win10 doesn't work 16bit images too.

Workarounds

#cd ~/.wine/drive_c/GOG\ Games/Chaos\ Overlords/DATA

#mv PX16 ..

What was not tested

CD version, only GOG version

Graphics:

• GPU: Intel
• Driver: open source

Additional Comments

Wine version :

    wine --version
    wine-3.19 (Staging)

In .bashrc in hone : export WINEARCH=win32

    # printf "export WINEARCH=win32" >> ~/.bashrc

Wine is set to Windows7 via winecfg.

    #winecfg

Instalation is via wine like :

    #wine setup_chaos_overlords_2.1.0.17.exe

Instalation ended wit some harmless errors.

Workaround (same as in Windows 10) - remove 16bits images :

    #cd ~/.wine/drive_c/GOG\ Games/Chaos\ Overlords/DATA

    #mv PX16 ..

And run ..
