Image Composite Editor (ICE)

What works

When it is first installed it fails to run with a "PresentationFramework" assembly missing error:

The entry point method could not be loaded due to Could not load file or assembly 'PresentationFramework, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. assembly:PresentationFramework, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35 type: member:

So, it's neccesary to install Mono and .NET Framework in order to make it work, then i installed mono from Arch repositories with # pacman -S mono

But if you are on Ubuntu, it would be # apt-get install mono-complete

Then, install .NET Framework with winetricks: $ winetricks dotnet46

This way application will open and run.

What does not

Preview is not available when working with the images, that's because there's no Direct3D communication between Wine and render target on ICE.
