Image Composite Editor (ICE)

What works

It looks like the installer completes:

There is a confirmation saying that the installation was successful and a message asking you to whether you want to run the program immediately.

What does not

When running the program immediately at the end of the installer, there is a Program Error:

"The program ICE.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I did try the suggestion from the other post about installing mono and .NET using winetricks. Both installed eventually, but seemingly had no effect on running the program.
After running the installer from ICE, I did not see any installed files anywhere. But it may very well be that I don't know where to look for them, as this is the first time I'm trying to use wine (for OSX on Sonora)

Workarounds

What was not tested

I don't really know what to write here since I have not much clue on what options there are for testing and troubleshooting.

For example, I did not find the ICE.exe and could not try running it without the installer.
