What works
PDF OCR, pdf conversion, concatenation, seems like everything just works
scanning (via twain) seems to work but I think there is a bug in Wine/Sane so Nuance only scans white pages instead of actual images.
What does not
some tiny graphics glitches (using GNOME shell): between GNOME's window
bar and the application toolbar are a few wasted pixels: solid gray,
part of the Nuance logo visible, looks a bit weird but does not impair
functionality).
