What works

AFAICT everything I've tried works. Plays flawlessly with minimal tweaks.

What does not

need to install with a version of wine >3.18

need to play with 4.0 patched with a certain futex patch for performance (Which hopefully makes it into a post 4.0 version.).

need to set:

```echo 655300 > /proc/sys/vm/max_map_count```
...to keep from running out of maps at 8GB..
OTHERWISE INSTALLS AND RUNS FLAWLESSLY FOR HOURS.
Workarounds
Graphics:
  • GPU: Nvidia
  • Driver: proprietary
Additional Comments
Wine 4.0 will install it and run it, but you still need the futex patch for now. Dear upstream, please merge this patch!
HowTo / Notes
Using the GL cache
Using the GL cache gave me a 10%-30% boost with performance, based on the fps.
Just add this to the startscript:
export __GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE=true
export __GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE_PATH="/home/you/yourcachepath/SC"
export __GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE_SKIP_CLEANUP=true
