Installation and running full screen at default in game resolution. Although the proper aspect ratio was not kept so everything looks stretched on my wide screen monitor. I suspect this is more to do with the old proprietary Nvidia graphic driver for this old graphic card that does not have a setting for maintaining aspect ratio in games. It also works in an emulated virtual desktop at the default in game resolution which does keep the aspect ratio proper. Using a no-CD crack.
What does not
Changing in game resolution no matter which one you choose whether in full screen or using an emulated virtual desktop causes the game to crash with the following error message.
Exception raised - access violation
Error location: Windows display driver
Clicking ok on this message then brings up a WINE error message window.Clicking ok causes the game to gracefully exit to the desktop with no issues.
If you don't enter a game scenario/park before exiting the program. The game freezes. I was unable to force close the game at this point. So I forced a log out. After logging back in, the game would not even run with no error messages showing. Only re-booting the computer allowed the game to run again.
What was not tested
Fully playing a scenario park fully through. I just played around with different scenarios for a few minutes each.
