Anthem Game

What works

The game works Video, missions, freeplay pretty much everything.

What does not

The Menu and the City is very low FPS, you can still do stuff if you have a bit of patience. Tested on Nvidia card GTX 1080ti Drivers 415.27. 

Also you may not be able to move your character (Workaround)

Installation may fail at some point with directx error (Workaround)

Other versions of WINE other than 4.0 would not let the game start.

Keep windows version to 7 changing it to windows 10 also wouldn't let me start the game.

Workarounds

If you cannot move your character install vcrun2017 from winetricks

If installation fails with directx error, do not close error got to the games folder and find "redist" folder ( /drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Origin Games/Anthem/__Installer/directx/redist/ ) and in this folder open terminal and paste this command ( watch -n.1 'rm -rfd ./*cab' ) this should delete all .cab files every millisecond to trick Origins into finishing the installation after to press ok on the error. When installation is done and you see big tick over the game you can stop that command "Ctrl + C" and close terminal.

Restart Origins and play the game. if all went well it should start in a few seconds. Remember you should use DXVK for this game.
