I had to install VB Runtime 2013 with `winetricks vcrun2013` as well as delete vchan_plugins/pcoip_vchan_remoteprintclient.dll as suggested by

I have dual monitors and I notice that clicking the amazon drop down menu (which is right above the session) opens in the wrong position (on other monitor) but does not affect functionality

HOWTO Install

To install from the CLI use the msi installer. Example: wine msiexec /i Amazon+WorkSpaces.msi 

Remove the following file to stop crashes on progarm start: ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Amazon Web Services, Inc/Amazon WorkSpaces/vchan_plugins/pcoip_vchan_remoteprintclient.dll

In some cases you may need to install install VB Runtime 2013 this can be done with winetricks `winetricks vcrun2013`
