Fine Offset are the developers of EasyWeather, which is bundled with several different weather stations. Perhaps most popular is the WH1080 station.
I have used EasyWeather about 10 years ago, and it looked exactly the same then as it does now. I suspect the version number increases when they add support for more weather stations, not because of additional user interface additions.
After running EasyWeather.exe an error immediately pops up "Cannot open the database". After that another error "Unknown error 0x80004003". After that the application opens, but the status line says "USB Unconnected".
The problem is most likely that the USB cannot be accessed. As far as I can see there are no drivers necessary, but the generic USB doesn't work either.
What does not
I suspect all of the problems stem from not being able to access USB.
Instead of using this app, you can use the python script (pywws I think it's called) which enables you to download data from the unit but you must process and display it yourself somehow.
What was not tested
If you are only interested in looking at old data, you might be able to copy the data files and look at them?
