Clip Studio Paint EX/PRO/DEBUT Ver.1.8.8 (Windows/macOS/iPad) has been released. This update is a bug fix to address an issue where materials would not be pasted to the correct location when dragged and dropped on the canvas. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this bug.
Version 1.8.6 was released on February 28, but it came to our attention that the new pen pressure wizard was appearing on start-up for people who did not need it.
Please follow these instructions to revert to the default pen pressure settings.
you will be able to revert to previous pen pressure settings if you have backed up your app settings with the Clip Studio cloud. If you have not backed up your settings, it is not possible to automatically revert the settings. Please see here for instructions on how to revert to settings backed up on the cloud.

What does not
The CTRL+ALT shortcut to change the brush size tends to freak out. Recommended to just use the brush settings panel instead.

Additional Comments
To get it working, install all libraries from mscvr100 to mscvr120-app. And set the run mode for clip studio and CSP to windows 8.1. this got it to work reliably for me on Manjaro.
